Cheese-Filled Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. Yum.

I have an excessive amount of ground beef in my freezer at the moment. In an attempt to fix this issue and make some room for other proteins I decided to experiment. My hankering for some sweet potato fries helped push this experimenting along. It was a double-whammy for new recipes.

First things first, the cheese stuffed burger. {Drool}

Cheese-Filled Burger

1/2-ish of ground beef

shredded cheese, whatever kind you like

1. Split your ground beef into two equal parts.

2. Flatten each part into a patty.

3. Sprinkle cheese in the middle of one of the patties.

4. Place the other patty on top and pinch the two patties together, sealing in the cheese.

5. Cook as you would a normal hamburger.

Cheese. Combo of cheddar and pizza blend. Just what I happened to have on hand.

Cheese all snug between two patties. Ready to cook.

**Next time I may experiment even further by adding a little minced garlic or some peppers and bacon. The sky is the limit for what I can stuff these bad boys with.

And of course, you need to have some fries to go with that delicious burger…

Sweet Potato Fries

2 Sweet potatoes

coconut oil

salt, to taste

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Peel sweet potatoes.

2. Slice into desired size fries or use an apple slicer. <—thank you, Pinterest.

3. Let fries soak in cold water for 5 or so minutes.

4. Remove from water, dry, and toss with coconut oil.

5. Spread on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt.

6. Bake for 20 minutes. Turn over and bake another 15 minutes.

Slicing the fries. Such a great idea from Pinterest.

Toss with oil and salt.

Ooey-gooey cheese stuffed burger and sweet potato fries. A perfect combination.

Finished product. x2. Delicious.
